Get to know Viola's Beardies and what we're all about.
How it started
When I got my first dragon, Viola, on my 13th birthday, I knew she was something special. I quickly realized how misunderstood these beautiful creatures were, sort of like myself. I learned everything there was to learn about bearded dragons. Not long after getting Viola, another dragon came into my life, passing quickly due to previous neglect. I wanted to save as many dragons as I could from that point on.
This is how Viola's Beardies Rescue came to be.
Where we are now
As the years went by, I rescued many dragons and found them their forever homes. I also saw a lot of neglect, but I wouldn't have changed a thing. Due to my own health and life circumstances, I stopped doing anything related to reptiles for a while.
I slowly began boarding more and more towards the end of the pandemic and found my passion for dragons all over again. I now enjoy meeting new dragons (and other reptiles!) and their owners.
